Mission Statement:

Texas is moving toward the 21st century amid a period of dramatic change in the economic conditions of both the state and the nation. The educationl system of the state is responsible for preparing our children to live and work in this changing future.

All students need to develop essential academic skills and to acquire a knowledge base on which to build a lifelong of learning. All students will be taught a core curriculum of English, language arts, mathematics, science, social studies, fine arts, health, physical education, and technological literacy. All students will acquire a knowledge of citizenship and economic responsibilities and an appreciation of our common American heritage including its multicultural richness. To the full exten of their individual abilities, students will be provided the opportunity to develop the ability to think logically, independently, and creatively an to communicate effectively. Educating our children to be productive in a changing future necessitates an excellent educational system. A system that can accomplish this mission must be characterized by quality, equity, and accountability.

  • Instruction must be provided at the highest levels of quality.
  • Educational opportunities and resources must be distributed with equity for all students.
  • The Educational system must maintain accountability for demostrated results and continuous improvement.

Such a system will have the vitality to prepare our children for the changes and the challenges of the future, a future which will belong to the educated.

 

Vision Statement

The vision of the Bruceville-Eddy School is to create a learning environment that will unlock the full potential of the human mind enabling each student to enrich their lives and serve mankind with greatness.

Bruceville-Eddy School seeks to become an ivigorated community of learning where both students and staff demonstrate continous intellectual growth. Students and staff are lifelong learners exhibiting high quality and meaningful performance.

Bruceville-Eddy School seeks to develop a whole human being with real world skills establishing explicit links between academic achievement and post secondary goals. Students acquire the ability to handle diverse information, interact in cooperative work groups ro solve problems, and function effectively in a rapidly changing world.
